"Otherland In Song"
Concert Quality Australian Eucalyptus Didgeridoo

Crafted by Kristian Benton (Ngemba aboriginal)

Kristian is an Australian indigenous artist who is highly dedicated to his craft. He's been making and playing his own didgeridoos since 1995. A descendant of the Ngemba people of New South Wales, Australia, Kristian’s talent for finding and making CONCERT QUALITY instruments goes side by side with his expertise in playing them. This is an unbeatable combination and a valuable asset as this allows him to make didgeridoos to very specific standards. Not many didgeridoo crafters can claim to excel in both areas.

This darkly handsome didgeridoo is from a private collection and is in very fine condition. The artwork depicts the serpent Wanapi of aboriginal lore, along with Kristian's signature rock art motif. Crafted from termite hollowed boxgum eucalyptus. The interior bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A beautiful satin finish protects the wood and artwork from the elements. Kristian does all of the crafting by hand, from sussing out the perfect termite-hollowed trees, cutting them with an axe instead of a chainsaw, skinning the bark and finishing them up. This one features much of the natural root left on the bottom end, which adds an eye-popping bit of organic deco. The footprint of the root bell measures 8.5" by 7" wide. Didgeridoos with root bells can be hard to find, so we expect that this one may find a lucky owner very quickly (don't ruminate over it too long if you want it.)

Large bell on this didgeridooFREE SHIPPING in the U.S. which, for a didge like this, would be around $70 to most places outside of California. That said, the box, bubbles, packing, insurance and delivery are on us!

Crafted from termite hollowed eucalyptus in Australia's southern Queensland. There's heaps of color and interest going on in the natural wood grain. The interior bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A semi-gloss finish protects the wood from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.

Soundwise: Concert Quality

This warm, earthy, conical bore, big-belled didgeridoo prefers to play moderate to fast paced riddims. Very easy to get the best out of it straight away! The tone is warm, rich and emotive. It's rumbly and grumbly with a full spectrum drone that will allow you to suss out new sonic realms. QUITE LOUD with DEEP BASS frequencies. Wordless vocals, animal calls, and light harmonic overtones blend perfectly within this instrument's fuzzy acoustics. Optimal strong backpressure makes the circular breathing technique easier. Very easy to play so we reckon it's gonna go fast. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Watch the video below to see Barry demo this didgeridoo for you.
