"Crystal Vortex"
High Quality Australian Eucalyptus Didgeridoo
Crafted by Tynon
Watch a VIDEO demo of this didgeridoo below!

Tynon lives in Bellingen, NSW, Australia, where he crafted this handsome HIGH QUALITY didgeridoo from a Victorian mallee eucalyptus tree. The sound, color and shape of thi8s didge is wonderfully rare, and it has a quartz crystal imbedded into a natural tree branch offshoot for added interest (see the close-up photos at left for a better look.) Tynon and I are kindred spirits when it comes to our thoughts, ethics and passion for the didgeridoo. And he's a perfectionist, spending heaps of time on the details and finish of his instruments. One of Tynon's trademarks is to coat the inside of his didgeridoos with a film of beeswax. This helps to prevent any small air leaks that may dampen the sound, and also keeps moisture from your breath away from the wood. Crafted from termite hollowed eucalyptus. Victorian mallee eucalyptus has distinctive coloring, grain from "peeled layers" to "paperbark" and can grow into unusual shapes. To showcase this, Tynon left this didgeridoo completely undecorated.
Tynon's didges are currently selling for $700 to over $1,000 on another didgeridoo website (in Australia), so this one's not only affordable––it's already here in the U.S. and ready to send to you straight away. You'll enjoy playing it as much as you will admiring it. This instrument was acquired from a private collection, circa 2006, and is in very fine condition. The wood has been refinished and the crystal polished (though there are a few small pits in it due to age and wear).
This didgeridoo plays with a very traditional acoustic; warm, earthy and a bit gruff with a direct tonality. Excellent choice for a player that wants an organic and not overly-loud instrument. This is a HIGH QUALITY didgeridoo pitched in the key of E. Natural mouthpiece so there's no beeswax needed. Sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil) before shipping out to you.
FREE SHIPPING in the U.S. which, for a didge this size, would be around $40 to most places outside of California. The box, bubbles, insurance and delivery are on us. We don't expect that it will hang around long at this price.
Soundwise: High Quality
This Tynon didgeridoo offers a vibrant harmonic register with spicy, eerie and expansive reverberations! A very good instrument with aggressive vocal distortion effects and a sharp drone that lends itself perfectly to faster riddims. A fantastic drum cirlcle didge! Insectile buzzes and whip-snapping response to tongued and diaphragmatic beats and effects are easily achieved. The first trumpet toot is warm to the drone and the overblown note is very stable making it easy to incorporate into rhythms. Optimal strong backpressure. Truly a fine instrument at an unbeatable price for this combination of craftsmanship and artwork. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
