    The Didge Box
The most portable didgeridoo in the world!
    didgebox compact didgeridoo
Perfect for a beginner, but advanced players will want one to carry around on camping trips, to drum circles, and jam sessions with friends!

Weighs less than 1 pound and will easily fit in carry-on luggage, your backpack or suitcase. Ideal for auto, home, office and outdoors!
Pitched in the key of C. The Didge Box produces an enjoyable, not overly loud sound quality with the low deep drone of a full length didgeridoo.
Smooth, comfortable contact with the lips. The diameter is the perfect fit at just under 1.25" across. The Didge Box does not require the wax often used with eucalyptus didgeridoos.

The Didge Box produces the sound of a full sized didgeridoo yet it's smaller than a cigar box and weighs less than 1 pound.

    Play The Didge Box

If you play the didgeridoo (or want to) imagine the possibilites of not having to worry about packing, shipping, or carrying around your full sized didgeridoo. Just grab The Didge Box and you get the sound of a full 5 foot long didgeridoo in a handsome mahogany box that weighs less than 1 pound!
The Didge Box is pitched in the deep key of C. It's not a high pitched didgeridoo like you might expect from an instrument smaller than a cigar box.
Another great use of The Didge Box is for people who suffer with sleep apnea and chronic snoring. It's a medically proven fact that learning to play a didgeridoo Relieves Sleep Apnea and Snoring.
Beware of those cheap plastic imitations of The Didge Box found on auction sites and corporate musical instrument sites. The sound and playability of those toy models is truly disappointing and you'll just want to send them back.

    1. Amazed star rating

Posted by Francois on 15th Nov 2016

Yes, I am amazed. i never thought such a compact design could produce such a sound... don't expect concert playing, but I now carry it in my bag and just practice when I have a chance.

Easy to play, great tones and drones my only little problem is that I play slightly sideways and the edge of the aperture cuts slightly ( i mean, very slightly) into my lips after a long play. I could wax it, but it would render it a little too small. This is a very minor detail and would not affect my decision to purchase again.

    2. Amazing! star rating

Much more than I ever expected it to be. Tone, volume, backpressure, all were amazing from such a compact little box. Sure, it's not a match for a full size didge but to be able to take it anywhere and play anytime, it's just what I needed. I am very happy with everything except the strange looks I am getting on the freeway. Thank you.

    3. Bought to Help with Sleep Apnea star rating

Posted by Tim on 16th Sep 2016

My sleep apnea doctor recommended this company and the Didgebox to help with my sleep apnea. I have a mild case.

I picked the product up from the company in Palm Springs while visiting there. A few days later I drove home six hours listening to the CD I purchased with it and learning to play the Didgebox. I was amazingly surprised how easy it was to learn to play. This is from someone who is totally void of any musical talent. If you can vibrate your lips, you can play the Didgebox.

I cannot say right now if it’s helping or not with my sleep apnea. This will take time to evaluate and probably require testing by the doctor.

    4. Love my Didgebox! star rating

The Didge Box works just as well as LAOutback said it would. It is small and portable, and good to practice on and carry around, especially when it may be inconvenient to carry the longer didgeridoo around. It is quieter than the longer didgeridoo, which helps at night, though the longer didgeridoo can also be played in a condo quietly at any time at night, so long as one does not get carried away! To be able to play softly in the wee hours is wonderful! And this is what LAOutback told me was the case. I found all the information told to me about what I bought to be very accurate. No hard sell or anything, just the truth.

    5. Nice and portable star rating

Posted by Paul Pistore on 16th Feb 2015

I had purchased the synthetic didge, several years ago, and loved it... Unfortunately, it disappeared in a messy breakup. Years later, I decided to start playing again. Partially because I've read that didge playing helps with snoring and sleep apnea.

I figured the Box would be a portable and easy choice. It's great! Quieter than a full didge, it's good in my apartment. My only improvement would be to make a way to get inside to clean it.

Other than that small improvement, I couldn't be happier.
I think it might be time to invest in another full didgeridoo...

    6. Not bad! star rating

Posted by Gorman on 9th Feb 2015

For something that is small enough to put in my cargo pocket, the sound is not bad at all. It's a little quiet and it doesn't have as much back pressure as a traditional Didge. So I found it's just a little harder to circular breath. But it's surprising! I've become pretty fond of this little box.

    8. Great little didge star rating

I bought two Didge Boxes and they were delivered right on time and in great condition. It is a fun mobile product and of great quality. Actually I am considering bringing a bunch into my office for our patients with sleep disorders to help develop their neck muscles and open their airways. Thanks again Dr. Phil

    9. Very good instrument star rating

Posted by Charlie C on 9th Dec 2014

This is a very good, natural wood, instrument. While it doesn't have the complexity of sound that you would get from a eucalyptus didg, it does have a great, deep vibe that you'd have to pay a lot more for in a eucalyptus didg. It's easy to play, great to practice on, and best of all--you can take it anywhere.

Easy to transport, it gives a person the desire to practice anywhere on a moments notice. you can carry in your jacket pocket or whatever! I wish it was a little louder.
