    The Didge Box
The most portable didgeridoo in the world!

    didgebox compact didgeridoo
    EASY TO PLAY
Perfect for a beginner, but advanced players will want one to carry around on camping trips, to drum circles, and jam sessions with friends!

    EXTREMELY COMPACT
Weighs less than 1 pound and will easily fit in carry-on luggage, your backpack or suitcase. Ideal for auto, home, office and outdoors!

    GOOD SOUND QUALITY
Pitched in the key of C. The Didge Box produces an enjoyable, not overly loud sound quality with the low deep drone of a full length didgeridoo.

    PERMANENT MOUTHPIECE
Smooth, comfortable contact with the lips. The diameter is the perfect fit at just under 1.25" across. The Didge Box does not require the wax often used with eucalyptus didgeridoos.

The Didge Box is made from solid mahogany wood. It produces the sound of a

full sized didgeridoo yet it's smaller than a cigar box and weighs less than 1 pound.

    Play The Didge Box

If you play the didgeridoo (or want to) imagine the possibilites of not having to worry about packing, shipping, or carrying around your full sized didgeridoo. Just grab The Didge Box and you get the sound of a full 5 foot long didgeridoo in a handsome mahogany box that weighs less than 1 pound!

The Didge Box is pitched in the deep, low key of C. It's not a high pitched didgeridoo like you might expect from an instrument smaller than a cigar box.

Another great use of The Didge Box is for people who suffer with sleep apnea and chronic snoring. It's a medically proven fact that learning to play a didgeridoo helps relieve the symptoms of sleep apnea and snoring.

Beware of those cheap plastic imitations of The Didge Box found on auction sites and corporate musical instrument sites. The sound and playability of those toy models is truly disappointing and you'll just want to send them back.

    1. Love my Didgebox! star rating

Posted by David Nelson on 7th Mar 2015

The Didge Box works just as well as LAOutback said it would. It is small and portable, and good to practice on and carry around, especially when it may be inconvenient to carry the longer didgeridoo around. It is quieter than the longer didgeridoo, which helps at night, though the longer didgeridoo can also be played in a condo quietly at any time at night, so long as one does not get carried away! To be able to play softly in the wee hours is wonderful! And this is what LAOutback told me was the case. I found all the information told to me about what I bought to be very accurate. No hard sell or anything, just the truth.

    2. Nice and portable star rating

Posted by Paul Pistore on 16th Feb 2015

I had purchased the synthetic didge, several years ago, and loved it... Unfortunately, it disappeared in a messy breakup. Years later, I decided to start playing again. Partially because I've read that didge playing helps with snoring and sleep apnea.

I figured the Box would be a portable and easy choice. It's great! Quieter than a full didge, it's good in my apartment. My only improvement would be to make a way to get inside to clean it.

Other than that small improvement, I couldn't be happier.
I think it might be time to invest in another full didgeridoo...

    3. Not bad! star rating

Posted by Gorman on 9th Feb 2015

For something that is small enough to put in my cargo pocket, the sound is not bad at all. It's a little quiet and it doesn't have as much back pressure as a traditional Didge. So I found it's just a little harder to circular breath. But it's surprising! I've become pretty fond of this little box.

    5. Great little didge star rating

Posted by Phil Mollica on 27th Dec 2014

I bought two Didge Boxes and they were delivered right on time and in great condition. It is a fun mobile product and of great quality. Actually I am considering bringing a bunch into my office for our patients with sleep disorders to help develop their neck muscles and open their airways. Thanks again Dr. Phil

    6. Very good instrument star rating

Posted by Charlie C on 9th Dec 2014

This is a very good, natural wood, instrument. While it doesn't have the complexity of sound that you would get from a eucalyptus didg, it does have a great, deep vibe that you'd have to pay a lot more for in a eucalyptus didg. It's easy to play, great to practice on, and best of all--you can take it anywhere.

Easy to transport, it gives a person the desire to practice anywhere on a moments notice. you can carry in your jacket pocket or whatever! I wish it was a little louder.

    8. Great addition to my collection star rating

Posted by Andrew Kovalchick on 1st Dec 2014

I've been playing the didge for about a year now and I have two, a PVC model and a eucalyptus didge from Australia. Both play very differently. The didge box plays differently yet again and in some regards is easier to circular breathe with. It's a nice portable addition to my collection, easy to grab and go. Has good sound and volume for its small size. I love it and am glad that I bought it.

    9. Great service and I love my new Didgebox! star rating

Posted by Susan Heider on 29th Nov 2014

I LOVE my Didge Box. My son who can actually play and circular breathe tried it out and loved it too and then gave me my first Didge Lesson. It's not heavy and gives as good as sound as our full sized Didge. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

    10. travel easy star rating

Posted by Robert westhoff on 20th Nov 2014

Going from the USA to South East Asia. I could not easily bring my beginner's didgeridoo and did not want to stop practising either so I bought this handy box didge. Sound is very nice and the box is very nicely made. Easy to put into your backpack. I am very happy with my purchase. Easy to deal with the sales staff as well. Highly recommended
