At six feet in length you might expect this didgeridoo to be very low in pitch, but it's actually a HIGHLY VERSATILE D# in nearly perfect pitch! That makes it easy to play fast or slow, loud or quite, gritty or refined. The shape makes it remarkably sensitive to air pressure and mouth shape, responding with impressive ease to diaphragmatic pulses, and a phat whollop to "blow-outs".
This didgeridoo tapers from a natural wood mouthpiece down to a BIG 5.25" bell at the bottom end. James Felgar is serious about his didges, and whilst he may be fairly new on the scene as a young crafter, he's making waves both sonic and aesthetic. This CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoo features a very comfortable mouthpiece made from layers of beautiful purple heart, maple, walnut, padauk and cherry woods. You will not need any beeswax to create a seal for your lips (see photo at left).
Crafted from a pepper tree and left completely unpainted, the natural lustre in the wood grain offers many hues and shifting "fire". All of the checks in the wood are sealed up tight. Double resin coated inside and out for enhanced sound quality, luster and durability. A beautiful satin polyurethane finish tones down the glossiness of the resin and further protects the wood from the elements. Features a smooth and comfortable natural mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). No beeswax needed. This didgeridoo is waterproof, less affected by hot or cold weather conditions than non resin-coated didges, and very easy to care for, no worries.

Soundwise: Concert Quality

Performance grade sound and playability. A big voiced, shockingly vibrant didgeridoo that defies its asking price. Ready to kick up some dirt, this didgeridoo beams bright from the get-go with a sonic focus and clarity that is highly sought after. It's one of the best sounding instruments we've had on offer in this price range and it's gonna put a boomerang-shaped smile on the face of whomever gets it. Excellent midrange and high end frequencies for crisp tongued pops, tups and twang. Good chunky bass. Surprisingly responsive with sharp, clear vocal attacks, tongued trills, and flickering harmonic flame. It has perfectly balanced acoustics with brilliant harmonic luminosity. SIX EASY HORN TOOTS! Play it fast or slow, no dramas. Sensitive in the midrange and high frequencies giving wings to your tongued rhythms and vocal wails. You will absolutely marvel at the diversity, range and power of this awesome player. Optimal strong backpressure which makes the circular breathing technique easier.
