This gourd didgeridoo is shapely and LOUD!  Made by KC Kraudy from four different gourds (the hard hollow shell of a dried vine-grown fruit). Gourds are used around the world to create resonating chambers for string instruments, kalimbas and drums, but here –– the whole musical instrument is made of gourd. The art of seamlessly joining multiple gourds into a beautiful, reverberating didgeridoo is a lengthy process as you can imagine. KC has done a wonderful job on this one, and if you're looking for a didgeridoo with HEAPS OF BASS and SUPER CLEAR VOCALS then here's your new axe, bro! It's also very light in weight making it easy to hold up if you want to use it for "vibrational therapy", and for taking along with you on urban walkabouts or jam sessions with friends.

kc kraudy didgeridoosKC (pictured at right) says, "Didgeridoos are a very big part of my life, and since I picked one up it has opened many doors and taken me to places I would not have gone before. I've also made new friends that I would not have met otherwise. I have only the utmost respect for the aboriginal people and the instrument that they founded."

Decorated with artist acrylic paints and stains, and a crystal inlay near the bell end. This didgeridoo is incredibly tempo-versatile and so easy to play you just won't believe it. The bottom gourd (just above the wide bell end) is thin in spots, and while the thinness is one of the contributing factors to why this didge is super resonant, you will want to be careful not to bump it too hard or apply too much pressure to this area. Reasonable care is all it needs. It has a solid, high gloss finish. Double resin coated for enhanced sound quality, luster and durability. Fitted with a smooth and comfortable mouthpiece made of organic beeswax, sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.

Soundwise: High Quality

With rippling highs, drummy lows, and HEAPS OF VOLUME, this didgeridoo is also easy to play. It's a large bore didge, so you loose a bit of backpressure in exchange for FAT BASS frequencies and ARTICULATE VOCAL EFFECTS. The trance-inducing thrum of the drone, shamanistic vocal mutterings and tongued percussive beats make the sonics in this didgeridoo swirl, bleep, and dance with a delirious verve. This instrument has well balanced acoustics with spicy, eerie and expansive reverberations. Three horn toots, the first two being very easy to hit and each of them warm against the drone. May not last long now that it's pictured on the website and ready to rumble.
Medium-strong backpressure for its size and pitch making the circular breathing technique easeful.
