Over 4,000 Boomerangs in Stock and Ready to Ship!
Boomerang Aboriginal
Real Australian Boomerangs, Aboriginal Painted
Boomerangs are a symbol of Aboriginal culture, an Australian icon, a serious sport, and great fun to learn and/or collect at any age.
Our boomerangs are hand crafted in Australia from brigalow wood. The word brigalow is an Aboriginal term for shield, commonly made from the extremely hard wood of this species. It's an important plant for central Australian Aborigines with seeds eaten after roasting, grinding or mixed with water to make damper (bread). This wood is also used for digging sticks and various tools, weapons and woomeras (spear throwers). The plant is featured strongly in traditional Aboriginal ceremonies and stories.
