Crafted by Eddy Burra Scroll down to watch a VIDEO DEMO of this didgeridoo being played.
Eddy (Bundjalong aboriginal) crafted this TALL, handsome, dog-leg didgeridoo from golden bloodwood eucalyptus tree in N. Queensland, Australia. In over 17 years of sourcing didgeridoos from Australia, I think is only the second or third we've ever had on offer made from golden bloodwood –– a nice find, this one! It's a RESONANT, CONCERT QUALITY didge made from well seasoned, naturally termite-hollowed timber, and sports a BIG 4.75" bell at the bottom end. The spotted markings are natural tannins from the heartwood of the tree. Eddy is one of the few master crafters of bloodwood eucalyptus didgeridoos. We enjoy having his instruments on offer here as much as he appreciates your support of his work. This didgeridoo is remarkable in color and character with awesome patterns in the wood grain where the darker heartwood gives way to the lighter sapwood. See the photo at left for better detail. The bore is clear which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A polyurethane finish protects the wood from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece that's been sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.
Very easy to get the best out of it straight away. The acoustics are warm with glints of brilliance, and this beautiful didgeridoo has a lyrical twang that beckons to inspire new, evocative, more hypnotic riddims from you. Well suited for trancey, mid-tempo sessions of play. Gritty vocals for deep and grumbly animal calls and tribal chatter effects. You also get dreamily blurred harmonics with resonant and cavernous soundforms . The well seasoned timber and natural bore deliver a lush and radiant tone with perfectly balanced acoustics. It generates brilliant vocal clarity for awesome dingo howls, kookaburra calls, and otherworldly echoes. Optimal strong backpressure makes the circular breathing technique easeful. Truly a fine instrument at an unbeatable price for this quality from one of our premier aboriginal crafters.
