"Spirit of Yidaki"

Performance Quality Didgeridoo from the U.S.
|
|
Crafted by Dave Friley

Dave lives in central Kentucky where he crafted this handsome didgeridoo from a storm felled wild cherry tree. It features strong yet manageable volume and heaps of sweet spots to discover within its acoustics! Perfect conical bore, and look at the close-up photo of the natural mouthpiece––very smooth and comfortable. Dave does not use epoxy resin, even on the inside. This instrument is finished with hand rubbed polyurethane, protecting the artwork and leaving the surface of the wood as smooth as fine silk. Dave has been a supporter of L.A.Outback for a long time, and now we're happy to return the favor. The mouthpiece will be sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil) before packing. Play it straight away, no worries! |
Soundwise: Performance quality sound with a voice that's STRONG and CLEAR,
and it's very easy to manipulate weather you play it fast or slow. The conical bore makes this didgeridoo
warmly resonant with perfectly balanced
acoustics, strong bass frequencies and excellent vocal articulation.
Dense, shape-shifting harmonic overtones
and hot but sweet midrange sonics for heaps of
versatility. Excellent response
to both tongued and diaphragmatic
riddims. The tone colors are malleable at any tempo, whilst I find that you get the best out of it at moderate to faster paced riddims. Four easy horn
tones, all warm against the drone.
Perfect backpressure for its size
and pitch make for easier circular
breathing. Likely to sell
quickly so please don't hesitate
to contact us if you have any questions
or would like a demo over the phone. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. |
