The red dot on the Australian map at left shows the region where this didgeridoo came from. Eddy crafted this flawless, beautiful, concert quality didgeridoo. From the gorgeous wood grain to the deep grooves in the huge bell end there's no mistaking that this beauty was made from an ironbark eucalyptus tree. One of the heartiest of the eucalypt family, this tree dominates the forests of northern Queensland, Australia. Eddy, a stalwart fella, is one of the few master crafters of ironbark didgeridoos. We enjoy having his instruments on offer here as much as he appreciates your support of his work. Crafted from naturally termite hollowed eucalyptus. The interior bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A semi-gloss finish protects the wood from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece that's been sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries. |
Soundwise: Concert quality sound and playability with sonics like a warm flame,
melting the pockets of compression in your busy head. A dreamy, drifty, yet far from complacent sounding didgeridoo that doesn't neglect to
be interesting and intriguing. I love the sonic capabilities and well
balanced acoustics this one brings to the fore. It has a medium, slightly tapered bore that
really projects your vocals (great for animal calls and funky
distortion effects), and it's very easy and enjoyable to play, no dramas.
Your first go on this big beaut is gonna knock your socks off! Three horn
tones sing warmly against the fundamental drone. Perfect backpressure
for its size and pitch make the circular breathing technique easeful as
