Concert Quality Didgeridoo from Australia
|
|
Paddy Perrow

The red dot on the Australian map at left shows the region where this didgeridoo came from. Paddy painted
up this stellar sounding didgeridoo that was crafted from a woollybutt eucalyptus tree. The decoration features the artist's
own handprints. You can actually see and feel the texture of the paint on the wood which is a traditional "old school" approach to decorating a didge. Handprints have
been used as signatures in rock art the world over, but
nowhere more prevalent than Australia,
especially in the ancient caves
of the Northern Territory. This didgeridoo was crafted from
termite hollowed eucalyptus. The bell or
bottom end is very clear and open
which increases volume, harmonics,
and clarity of tone. A clear fixative, like that used on charcoal and pastel paintings,
protects the wood and artwork from
the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries. |
Soundwise: Concert quality sound with myriad sonic colors that are easy to manipulate at any tempo. Absolutely brilliant and hard to put down! Its medium-large bore makes it loud and clear, offering harmonic overtones that ring like a chorus of singing bowls. Highly articulate vocals, animal sounds, and tongued twang with perfectly balanced acoustics. Easy to get the very best out of it straight away. Crisp and reverberant whilst vibrating with PHAT, RESONANT BASS frequencies. Three horn tones sing warmly against the fundamental drone. Perfect backpressure for its size and pitch make the circular breathing technique easier. With this combination of sound and artwork we don't expect it to last long around here. Please don't hesitate

or would like a demo over the phone. 100%
