The red dot on the Australian map at left shows the region where this didgeridoo came from. Darryl made this didgeridoo from a bloodwood eucalyptus tree in Australia's Northern Territory. Much of the natural wood is left unpainted whilst the colorful artwork represents kangaroo tracks and water marshes in the desert dot art style. This is a fine instrument with a gently curved bore, beautiful finish, and heaps
of gem-like fire in the wood grain. Suitable for any player from the
beginner to advanced level.
The bell or distal end is very clear which increases volume, harmonics,
and clarity of tone. A glass-like resin finish on the outside protects the artwork and wood from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax
mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece
can easily be adjusted to fit you
perfectly. Instructions included, no worries. |
Soundwise: Performance quality sound with myriad sonic colors that are easy to manipulate at any tempo. Absolutely BRILLIANT and hard to put down! Its tapered bore makes it loud and clear, offering harmonic overtones that ring like a chorus of singing bowls. Highly articulate vocals, animal sounds, and tongued twang with perfectly balanced acoustics. Easy to get the very best out of it straight away. Crisp and reverberant whilst vibrating with RESONANT frequencies. Three horn tones sing warmly against the fundamental drone. Perfect backpressure for its size and pitch make the circular breathing technique easier. With this combination of sound, artwork, and resin-coated finish we don't expect it to last long around here.
