Agave Didgeridoo #BE888
Performance Quality Didgeridoo |
|
Crafted by Brad Evans

This agave didgeridoo comes apart for easy transport, which is a very good thing because as one piece it's over 8 feet long! It features a HUGE 7.5" wide bell at the bottom and a smooth, comfortable mouthpiece made of Purple Heart wood. The top section can be played alone in the key of E, but when joined with the bottom half it's a low F#. Yup, low F#, not a typo.
Truly one of a kind, and the very first two-piece agave didgeridoo we've ever had. The threaded fitting is air tight and only takes about 12 turns by hand to secure both pieces together. Brad lives in the Arizona high desert at an elevation where the agave plant thrives. He makes didgeridoos for a living, and he's a very likeable fella whose talent we enjoy supporting. Brad's fervency for the didgeridoo truly shines in his craftsmanship. His didges are fire-hollowed, not split. This didgeridoo is light in weight so you can easily take it along on walkabouts, to drum circles, or jam sessions with friends. Solid, gorgeous
finish. Double resin coated inside
and out for enhanced sound quality,
luster and durability. Features a smooth and comfortable wood mouthpiece that's been sanitized
with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). Brad's mouthpieces are finished with polyurethane, not coated in epoxy. This
didgeridoo is
waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold
weather conditions, and very easy
to care for, no worries. |
Soundwise: Performance quality sound. This is the DEEPEST, most GROWLY didgeridoo I've ever enjoyed playing. The acoustics are warm with
glints of brilliance, and this beautiful
didgeridoo has a lyrical twang that
beckons to inspire new, evocative,
more hypnotic riddims from you.
Well suited for trancey, mid-to-fast rhythms. Gritty vocals
for grumbly animal calls
and tribal chatter effects.
Perfect backpressure for its size
and pitch make the circular
breathing technique easeful.
Three easy horn tones, all warm
against the drone. Truly a fine
instrument at an unbeatable price
for this quality from one of our
premier non-aboriginal crafters.
Please don't hesitate to contact
us if you have any questions or
would like a demo over the phone. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. UPS Ground
shipping and insurance on this didgeridoo is $48.80
because it's two pieces with a giant bell end on one, and the thick padding of bubbles
needed to protect it in transport
to you. |
