Agave Didgeridoo #RR226
Concert Quality Didgeridoo |
|
Crafted by Robert Remington

Robert recently retired from a career as a goldsmith and jewelry designer which he began at the encouragement of his stepfather, the late Frank Polk, a renowned sculptor and founding member of the Cowboy Artists of America. Robert’s interest in the didgeridoo began after research into the benefits of playing the instrument as an alternative therapy for sleep apnea.

Having an extensive background in woodworking, he decided to craft his own didgeridoos from native agave plants, abundant in the Southwestern deserts of Arizona where Robert has lived for almost 50 years. Each instrument bears his own artistic touch; this one features a paduak wood mouthpiece with an inlayed button of turquoise inlace. It is embellished with a big inlayed turquoise stone on the bell end as well. This instrument was carefully tuned and given its own artistic touch to make it not only a quality player, but a true work of art. This didgeridoo is very light in weight so you can easily take it along on walkabouts, to drum circles, or jam sessions with friends. Double resin coated inside
and out for enhanced sound quality,
luster and durability. Features a smooth and comfortable solid mouthpiece that's been sanitized
with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). No beeswax needed. This
didgeridoo is
waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold
weather conditions, and very easy
to care for, no worries. |
Soundwise: Concert quality sound. VERY LOUD and SUPER DEEP in pitch yet easy to get the best out of it straight
away. The acoustics are warm with
glints of brilliance, and this beautiful
didgeridoo has a lyrical twang that
beckons to inspire new, evocative,
more hypnotic riddims from you.
Well suited for trancey, slower tempo
sessions of play. You'll
get dreamily blurred harmonics
with RESONANT and cavernous soundforms.
Perfect backpressure for its size
and pitch make the circular
breathing technique easeful.
Three easy horn tones, all warm
against the drone. Please don't
hesitate to contact us if you have
any questions or would like a demo
over the phone. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.

UPS Ground shipping on this didgeridoo is $36.40 due to its length, big bell size, the size of the box, and the thick padding of bubbles needed to protect it in transport to you. |
