Robert recently retired from a career as a goldsmith and jewelry designer which he began at the encouragement of his stepfather, the late Frank Polk, a renowned sculptor and founding member of the Cowboy Artists of America. Robert’s interest in the didgeridoo began after research into the benefits of playing the instrument as an alternative therapy for sleep apnea.

Having an extensive background in woodworking, he decided to craft his own didgeridoos from native agave plants, abundant in the Southwestern deserts of Arizona where Robert has lived for almost 50 years. Each instrument bears his own artistic touch; this one features a canary wood mouthpiece and is embellished with 8 turquoise stones. The instrument was carefully tuned and given its own artistic touch to make it not only a quality player, but a true work of art. This didgeridoo is very light in weight so you can easily take it along on walkabouts, to drum circles, or jam sessions with friends. Double resin coated inside
and out for enhanced sound quality,
luster and durability. Features a smooth and comfortable solid mouthpiece that's been sanitized
with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). No beeswax needed. This
didgeridoo is
waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold
weather conditions, and very easy
to care for, no worries. |
Soundwise: Performance quality sound. Perfectly
loud, brilliant and sassy with great
clarity in the tone and heaps of
dynamic response to pressure changes,
tongue position and vocal effects.
This didgeridoo offers rich and
twangy midrange frequencies (so
the bass doesn't overpower the high
end acoustics). Ancient and elemental
sonics collide to mesmerize both
the player and listener. With its
brilliant acoustics you get heaps
of reverberating tonal tonic to
discover, from guttural wails to
echoey trills that churn like electric
cicadas. Two easy horn tones, both
warm against the drone. Perfect
backpressure for its size and pitch
make the circular breathing technique easier. This one may sell
very quickly at this price so grab
it now if it calls to you. Please
don't hesitate to contact us if
you have any questions or would
like a demo over the phone.
As always, we offer a 100% Satisfaction
Guarantee.
UPS Ground
shipping and insurance on this didgeridoo is $28.40
due to its long length, the size of the
box, and the thick padding of bubbles
needed to protect it in transport
to you. |
