Agave Didgeridoo #MG102
Concert Quality Didgeridoo

Crafted by Myke Gomezmaicas

This agave didgeridoo is LOUD with a big beehive-shaped bell at the end. It's a ruggedly handsome instrument and oh, so easy to play. Crushed turquoise inlays provide a bit of deco where desert woodpeckers had punched through the agave skin. Myke knows the desert well and selects shapely stalks that have the best potential for didgeridoo crafting. All of the markings and colors are completely natural with raised lines that create undulating patterns around the bell end.

Myke is a longtime friend, going back to the first Joshua Tree festivals at the turn of the millennium. His beautiful family supports and encourages his very serious didge habit, and Myke shares his love of this instrument with heaps of young people in his community. He began making didgeridoos so his students would have something to learn on (see photo below). From that he's allowed me to hand pick the very best sounding new ones and offer them to you at very reasonable prices.

This didgeridoo is super light in weight so you can easily take it along on walkabouts, to drum circles, or jam sessions with friends. Double resin coated inside
and out for enhanced sound quality,
luster and durability. Features a smooth and comfortable natural mouthpiece that's been sanitized
with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). No beeswax needed. This
didgeridoo is
waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold
weather conditions, and very easy
to care for, no worries. |
Soundwise: Concert quality sound with good volume and projection. The acoustics are perfectly balanced and there's myriad sweet spots to discover as you grow with it. A fine didgeridoo can be like that–– an intuitive reflection of you both sonically and spiritually. Shimmering, soaring, vibratory sonic medicine. Responsive to both tongued and diaphragmatic riddims with a balance of warm bass frequencies and chirpy highs. Three easy horn toots. Very easy to play with a radiant, unbridled beatiness. It's playful and inspirational with strong backpressure that helps make the circular breathing technique very easeful. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like a demo over the phone. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.

UPS Ground shipping and insurance on this didgeridoo is $36.40 due to its long length, big bell end, the size of the box, and the thick padding of bubbles needed to protect it in transport to you. |
