These gorgeous CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoos have reverberant sonics with a healing vibe and good bass frequencies. They have been fire-kissed with a torch before resin coating to attain a rich mahogany color. And only these burned models have Tyler's beautiful walnut mouthpieces in place of the usual beeswax mouthpiece. The average length is around 50 inches with a diameter of about 2 inches. The pitch is tuned at or near C# which is not too high and not too low, making them excellent to learn on. Many serious players own one of these and have it as ther go-to didge for camping, hiking and drum circles –– they sound wonderful! If you'd like to ask what sizes/keys we have in stock at the moment, please ring us on (800) 519-1140.

Made from seasoned mosso bamboo appropriate for making musical instruments with strong, responsive acoustics. Durable, great sounding and affordable. Super light in weight so you can easily take it along on walkabouts, to drum circles, or jam sessions with friends. Double resin coated inside and out for enhanced sound quality, luster and durability. The finish has been buffed to satin lustre and a French polish has been hand-applied. Mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). This didgeridoo is waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold weather conditions, and very easy to care for.

    Soundwise: Concert Quality

These handsome didgeridoos are a dream to play with heaps of volume and projection.
Vibrant and alive with tone colors. The fairly bright drone is balanced with clear animal calls, articulate vocal effects and lush harmonic overtones. Crisp and sensitive in the midrange frequencies with a bouncy exuberance to diaphragmatic riddims. Very responsive, easy to play and to get the best out of it straight away. Two snappy horn toots. Optimal strong backpressure which makes the circular breathing technique easier. Loud and powerful when pushed, soft and lulling when played in a more relaxed manner. 1. Awesome Didger, Awesome Price! star rating

Posted by Tay on 16th Feb 2015

I've had a plastic pipe didge for about 8 months now. I went looking everywhere for a decent one. Honestly nothing fit my price range. When I stumbled across LA Outback, the presentation of all of there didgeridoos was top notch. Not only that but the videos helped a lot to hear a full range of different sounds. I looked back and fourth between different types. I was really looking for a deep sounding one. When this didgeridoo finally came I was more than impressed. Not to mention the free shipping was a nice plus. The sound quality, back pressure, and just the overall aesthetics are amazing. I couldn't be happier with this product. Keep doing what you're doing guys. I will be back in the future for sure!

    2. Great instrument at a great price star rating

This thing is absolutely stunning. It's a gorgeous color with a high-gloss sheen that can't be beat. It's got a great sound (nice big bore, too--great for vocals) and a very comfortable mouthpiece. Plus, it's not going to break the bank for most people!

    5. A Happy Buyer! star rating

Posted by Alix Vercruysse on 27th Dec 2014

I was hesitant to order this didgeridoo as my ""first"" wooden piece. I bought a small plastic starter didge for a few bucks before and now I wanted something nicer. I wasn't sure how much time I could spend didging with my busy schedule or if Id even stick with it.

The price along with the many great reviews were really attractive. I called LaOutback to ask some questions and Barry was super cool and helpful.

It looks AWESOME in person and easy to work on your circular breathing. Also, the craftsmanship is excellent. It feels high quality and solidly made. I brought it to a friend who's been playing for years and makes didgeridoos now. He was impressed and loved the walnut mouthpiece. He ripped into it and it sounded amazing.

If you're on the fence about this I promise you wont be disappointed. Both new and old players can appreciate this Didge.

Couldn't be happier with my decision to buy this. I will most likely be buying again from LA Outback in the future.

    6. Outstanding! star rating

Posted by James Svensen on 11th Dec 2014

The package arrived promptly and in great condition with a hand signed thank you from the owner of the company. The artistry in the piece is outstanding and it produces a low, clear drone. My eight year old picked it up as soon as it arrived and was able to play different rythms on it immediately.

    7. My first didgeridoo star rating

This is my first didgeridoo and my first attempt at any wind instrument. The didgeridoo has incredible craftsmanship and was very easy to play. shipping was quick as it traveled across the entire United States. I will definitely be doing business with LAoutback in the future.

    8. The Best Didge! star rating

Posted by Quin Huss on 5th Dec 2014

This is the best bang for your buck. This extremely high quality bamboo is perfect. Before I only played cheap knockoffs and couldn't get them to play right.... The guys at LA Outback set me up with the best didge very easy to play as they said. I love it and take it everywhere. ill be back to get a new one soon.

    9. Excellent didge for the price! star rating

Posted by Todd on 1st Dec 2014

This was second didge, my first was a cheap fiberglass creation. I purchased this piece to learn circular breathing. The backpressure is great, I caught on the first couple of days I had it. The quality of the didge really makes a huge difference, especially the mouthpiece.

    10. Great beginner's Didge star rating

Posted by Steve Skinner on 29th Nov 2014

I am a beginner, and tried the Black Bamboo didgeridoo. It was beautiful, well packed and sounded awesome, but I decided to return it for an upgrade to something upstream of it. I found the back pressure to be substantially below what I was used to is my cheap PVC ones, but the tone was much better. I just didn't want to make it any harder to learn than I had to, so I am going with something else. However, once I learn to play better I may buy one of these then. The depth of tone was way better than anything else I have at the moment.
