This HUGE agave didgeridoo is over 6 FEET LONG with a GIGANTIC 9.5" BELL at the bottom end! Expertly crafted by Robert Remington this EARTHSHAKING didge is deep in pitch with loud, vibrant soundwaves implying colors and textures normally found in the electronic studio. Very easy to play with INTENSE HARMONIC OVERTONES and alluring, seductive vocal effects. It has a tapered, comfortable mouthpiece made of walnut, maple and purpleheart wood. A beautifully hand tooled, hand stitched leather wrap just below the mouthpiece features a Big Horn Sheep motif. Near the bell end there's a genuine turquoise stone surrounded by a leather bezel for more deco. See the close-up photos at left for a better look. Signed and numbered by Robert. This is a STUNNING didgeridoo with heaps of character both sonically and visually, and it's so rare to find such a big agave that turns out to be this amazing.

Please keep in mind that this is a VERY BIG didgeridoo and the shipping will be high due to the huge box and amount of bubble wrap that will be needed to protect it during transport to you.

Robert recently retired from a career as a goldsmith and jewelry designer which he began at the encouragement of his stepfather, the late Frank Polk, a renowned sculptor and founding member of the Cowboy Artists of America. Robert’s interest in the didgeridoo began after research into the proven health benefits of Didgeridoo Therapy for Sleep Apnea.

Having an extensive background in woodworking, he decided to craft his own didgeridoos from native agave plants, abundant in the Southwestern deserts of Arizona where Robert has lived for almost 50 years. This instrument was carefully tuned and given its own artistic touch to make it not only a quality player, but a true work of art. This didgeridoo is very light in weight so you can easily take it along on walkabouts, to drum circles, or jam sessions with friends. Double resin coated inside and out for enhanced sound quality, luster and durability. Features a smooth and comfortable solid mouthpiece that's been sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). No beeswax needed. This didgeridoo is waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold weather conditions, and very easy to care for, no worries.

Soundwise: Concert Quality

Sometimes the best sounding didgeridoos are the hardest to describe... I played this awesome stick for 10 minutes straight from my first go on it. Pure musical nourishment! The sound offers something surprisingly and beautifully unexpected –– a sound that I can only describe as a "well of souls". There's a sweet spot in there that delivers a calm but haunting ambient noir. The tone colors are malleable at any tempo, whilst I find that you get the best out of it at moderate to slow paced riddims. RICH, RESONANT HARMONIC OVERTONES. Play it gently with a bit of gurgle distortion and the sound is like the slowly crackling voice of thunder from a summer rain cloud. Five easy horn toots, all of them warm against the drone. Medium wall thickness. Conical bore. Super clean bell. Very easy to play with optimal strong backpressure for its size and pitch making the circular breathing technique easeful. Answer the call of this magnificent thunderhead! Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Likely to sell quickly.
