Jarrold Appo (Yidinji aboriginal) and his family crafted this CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoo from a boxgum eucalyptus tree. As a family enterprise they collectively call themselves Naiuwa, which means green turtle in the Yidinji dialect. This is a flawless instrument with gorgeous wood grain and artwork that has been fire-tattooed into the wood and then meticulously dot painted to create their signature style. This didgeridoo features sea turtles and stingrays, prominent figures in the Dreamtime stories, songs, and dances of these Coral Sea shore dwellers. The family's traditional homeland is in the Babinda Boulders area south of Cairns in northern Queensland, Australia. The artwork is meticulously executed. Crafted from termite hollowed eucalyptus. The interior bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A semi gloss finish protects the wood and artwork from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.

Soundwise: Concert Quality

This über didge offers deep, warm, resonant acoustics and ground-swelling bass frequencies that vibrate everything within earshot. The large bore delivers a vibrant harmonic register with spicy, eerie and expansive reverberations. This is TRULY A SHOWPIECE and absolutely one of a kind. Likely to sell quickly due to the rarity of the SUPER DEEP PITCH and the quality of the sound. Three warm horn tones. Blunt diaphragmatic response for guttural riddim accents. Optimal medium-strong backpressure which helps to make the circular breathing technique easier (even for a novice).
