Concert Quality Didgeridoo
Crafted by Djapardi (Wirudjuri aboriginal)Watch a VIDEO demo of this didgeridoo below!
Here's another handsome didgeridoo that just arrived from Australia. We are stoked to offer this GREAT SOUNDING instrument at a rock bottom price. This is a CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoo for just over $300 which is an awesome deal. Djapardi (pronounced
Jah-'par-dee) first stains the wood and then carefully etches Australian
animals, reptiles, and aboriginal symbols into the wood, revealing the
lighter wood beneath the stain. He then does a bit of detail with
painted dots before sealing the wood. The artwork on this one features a barramundi fish, sea turtle and sea snake motif along with aboriginal symbols for billabongs, or water marshes.
Ken "Djapardi" Morgan is from New South Wales, Australia, and his
imagery depicts animals and icons
symbolic of his bush country ancestry. Crafted
from termite hollowed eucalyptus. All of the natural bark has been left on the bottom end for a truly organic look and feel. The bark is sealed so it won't flake off. The interior
bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and
clarity of tone. A gloss finish protects the wood and artwork from
the
elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly.
Instructions included, no worries. Soundwise: Concert Quality
Simply a great didgeridoo with rippling highs, drummy lows, and a unique set of horn toots! Easy to get the best out of it straight away. The trance-inducing thrum of the drone, shamanistic vocal mutterings and tongued percussive beats make the sonics in this didgeridoo swirl, bleep, and dance with a delirious verve. This instrument has well balanced acoustics with spicy, eerie and expansive reverberations. Three horn toots, the first two being very easy to hit and each of them warm against the drone. Optimal strong backpressure for its size and pitch make the circular breathing
technique easier. With this combination of sound and looks we don't
expect it to last long around here. Please don't hesitate to contact us
if you have any questions. Watch the video below to see Brandon demo this didgeridoo for you. We don't rehearse these videos so this is virtually you picking it up playing it for the first time!
