If you attended last year's InDidjInUs didgeridoo festival in Oregon then you surely remember Brad Hagelstein's friendly persona and, of course, his handsome and deadly sounding didgeridoos! This was Brad's PERSONAL DIDGE that he left with Jeff Lohr after the festival, but has since decided to let it find a new, permanent home––maybe yours? It's truly an outstanding instrument in both looks and sound!

With a winsome swagger Brad says, "I love working with my hands, so making these instruments is something I am very passionate about. I specialize in making some of the best termite eaten didgeridoos available on the market. They are sealed inside and out to minimise cracking or splitting. I take a lot of time bringing out the natural beauty that is hidden in every hollow log. I truly love the transformation as the bark comes off and I’m the first one to see what I get to work with. It is the mixture of being both a wood worker and an artist that I am so in love with. I hope you like my didgeridoos as much I love making them."
Brad Hagelstein crafted this CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoo from a boxgum eucalyptus tree in New South Wales, Australia. There is so much going on in the color and shape of this instrument. A furniture-grade lacquer finish buffed down to a satin sheen gives it a rich lustre. The mouthpiece is made of Brazilian Ipe wood (see photo at left). The inside diameter is 1.25" which a just a little big for me personally, so I put a sliver of organic wax around the inside. That said, if you like mouthpieces on the slightly bigger side then you can very easily remove the wax (or ask me to before shipping). The mouthpiece will come to you sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil).

Soundwise: Concert Quality

With a voice that's STRONG and CLEAR this awesome didgeridoo sideswipes the senses and is super easy to manipulate weather you play it fast or slow. VERY LOUD, brilliant and sassy with great clarity in the tone and heaps of dynamic vocal response. Its chunky bass frequencies offer up a sonic undertow while fluttery rivulets of high end distortion effects create a billowing tonal swelter which seems to hold some unknown power. Good pitch bend from E down to D (by dropping your jaw a bit as you drone). FIVE EASY HORN TOOTS! Optimal, very strong backpressure makes the circular breathing technique easeful. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Watch the video below to see William demo this didgeridoo for you.
