Concert Quality Didgeridoo
Crafted by Brad Hagelstein
Watch a VIDEO demo of this didgeridoo below!
If you attended last year's
didgeridoo festival in Oregon then you surely remember
's friendly persona and, of course, his handsome and deadly sounding didgeridoos! With a winsome swagger Brad says, "
I love working with my hands, so making these instruments is something I am very passionate about.
I specialize in making some of the best termite eaten didgeridoos available on the market. They are sealed inside and out to minimise cracking or splitting.
Each piece I craft I treat like its going to be my own; I take a lot of time bringing out the natural beauty that is hidden in every hollow log. I truly love the transformation as the bark comes off and I’m the first one to see what I get to work with. It is the mixture of being both a wood worker and an artist that I am so in love with.
I hope you like my didgeridoos as much I love making them."
didgeridoo from a
eucalyptus tree in New South Wales, Australia. There is so much going on in the color and shape of this instrument.
A satin polyurethane finish gives it a fine furniture-like luster. The mouthpiece
(see photo at left for better look) is 1.2" inside diameter which a just a little big for me personally so I put a sliver of organic wax around the inside. I added the wax after taking the photo on the left
. That said, if you like mouthpieces on the bigger side then you can very easily remove the wax (or ask me to before shipping). The mouthpiece will come to you sanitized with
(tea tree and lavender oil).
Absolutely brilliant ease of play with hot, resonant acoustics. This didgeridoo offers a vibrant harmonic register with spicy, eerie and expansive reverberations! A superb instrument with aggressive vocal distortion effects and a resonant drone that lends itself perfectly to faster riddims. A fantastic drum cirlcle didj! High frequency insectile buzzes and whip-snapping response to tongued and diaphragmatic beats and effects.
technique easeful. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
