This is one of my TOP PICKS if you're looking for a LOUD, DEEP BASS didgeridoo. Having said that, keep in mind that this is a beefy didgeridoo with a BIG 5.25" bell on the end! Eddy (Bundjalong aboriginal) crafted this handsome didgeridoo from an bloodwood eucalyptus tree in N. Queensland, Australia. This is a SUPER RESONANT, CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoo made from well seasoned, naturally termite-hollowed timber.
Eddy is one of the few master crafters of bloodwood eucalyptus
didgeridoos. We enjoy having his instruments on offer here as much as he
appreciates your support of his work. This didgeridoo is remarkable in color and character with
awesome patterns in the wood grain where
the darker heartwood gives way to the lighter sapwood. See the photo at left for better detail. The medium-large
bore is very clear with slight curves (you
could almost roll a quarter down the inside) which increases
volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A beautiful, furniture grade satin finish
protects the wood from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece that's been sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.
Soundwise: Concert Quality
A thousand times brilliant! Clear, precise, direct tongue articulation. Vocals are present with easy modulation of tone and volume. Basically, this is a stand alone D that does everything that you could ever expect from it. This didgeridoo possesses an utterly brilliant (there I go again) tone, as rich and handsome as it looks. Tempo-versatile pitch with evocative acoustics, far-away tongued drumbeats and echoey distortion effects. Great pitch bending response from D down to C (by dropping your jaw a bit as you drone). The well seasoned timber and clear, medium bore deliver a lush and radiant tone with perfectly balanced acoustics. It generates brilliant vocal clarity for awesome dingo howls, kookaburra calls, and otherworldly echoes. Four easy to hit horn toots, each warm against the drone. Optimal strong backpressure for its size and pitch making the circular breathing technique easeful.
