Vintage, Collectable Mago Crafted by Peter Napillirri Watch a VIDEO demo of this didgeridoo below! Acquired from the private collection of Inlakesh (circa 2002) this old mago by Peter Napillirri is in fair condition with a hauntingly gruff drone. The artwork is rendered in natural ochres (earth pigments) featuring a Jewfish and python motifyellow box eucalyptus.
This is an "old school" instrument, much more collectable than your
average didgeridoo, and we honor that by using the regional word for
didgeridoo, "mago", here. Very desirable for its artwork, well seasoned timber, and
provenance. So why is it priced so low? True, a mago of this age with this artwork would normally fetch at least twice the asking price of this one. But this mago has been deeply discounted due to four small and one medium sized patched areas, along with some other minor scratches here and there. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean Soundwise: Good Quality This It has medium-strong backpressure which is good for its size and pitch making the circular breathing technique easier.
