"Nulla Nulla"
Concert Quality Mago from Australia
Crafted by Frankie Lane (Wugularr aboriginal) Watch a VIDEO demo of this didgeridoo below!

This is one of the VERY BEST sounding mago that we've had on offer in many years! It's gonna make collectors and players of the WAL (Western Arnhem Land) style utterly drool. Frankie "Tango" Lane crafted this fine instrument around 1996. Acquired from a private collection it is in good condition with just a bit of wear overall. Personally, I love the way it looks now, more than I would have the first day it was painted up. Fine old mago and yidaki exude an interest and charm that's hard to describe, and it has been well cared for. Crafted from termite hollowed eucalyptus. The age of the timber has seasoned the wood beautifully. The conical interior bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. The bell end has been expertly chiseled clean beyond what the termites had eaten, which really opens up the sound even further. Fitted with its original sugarbag beeswax mouthpiece. This beeswax has the aroma of molasses and sweet tobacco which takes me back to Arnhem Land every time I go near this mago––I love the frangrance. The mouthpiece is sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly.
Instructions included, no worries. Soundwise: Concert Quality
Truly deadly! Vibrant yet gruff––a very traditional acoustic. Responds perfectly well to contemporary riddims whilst built to be played in the Western Arnhem Land style. The first trumpet toot is very stable making it easy to incorporate into rhythms. This mago responds quickly to the slightest pressure changes and offers up tongued riddims with ease. The vocals are warm and the balance leans toward the mid range frequencies. It's QUITE LOUD without being ear-splitting but doesn't muk around when it comes to playing riddims that shred! Optimal strong backpressure for its size and pitch (making the circular breathing technique easier). Fine instruments of this ilk only come around every so often, so if you've been dreaming of owning a serious, well seasoned mago then take it away quickly or it'll be gone. Our sound quality ratings: CONCERT QUALITY Same as performance quality, but with perfectly balanced acoustics. PERFORMANCE QUALITY First rate, professional grade sound and playability. HIGH QUALITY Above average sound. Better than most found at comparable prices. GOOD QUALITY Nice introductory didgeridoo, but may lack in tonal quality and/or volume. FAIR QUALITY Not for serious playing. Good for muking around on, or as a conversation piece.
