This didgeridoo by Dharug just arrived in stock! Leslie is from the Ja-Bena area in Australia's Northern Territory, part of the Rembarrnga language group. The painting on this didgeridoo depicts Baru the Crocodile from Australian aboriginal lore, along with a freshwater fish and eel. See the close-up photos at left for a better look at the croc. A polyurethane finish protects the wood and
artwork from the elements.
This handsome didgeridoo was crafted from termite hollowed bloodwood eucalyptus in Australia's Northern Territory. Truly "old school" artwork, and instruments
like these are getting harder to find as more and more Australian aboriginal artists are painting with a contemporary and, in my opinion, pedestrian flare.
This instrument is suitable
for any player from the beginner to advanced level. Fitted with an organic beeswax
mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.
Soundwise: High Quality
This is a dynamo didge in the SUPER DEEP key of B that would be perfect for a beginner to intermediate level player looking for a low pitched instrument that's truly easy to play. It also delivers an awesome pitch-bend from B way down to low G by dropping your jaw and slowing your breath as you drone – very rare! This gruff, earthy sounding didgeridoo responds amazingly well to slow, meditative riddims. It's also slightly less loud than an average didgeridoo, making it perfect for someone that lives in an apartment, or wants to practice after putting the kids to bed. Astonishingly easy to get the best out of it straight away, and to grow with as a player. The sonic colors are malleable and sublime with highly articulate vocals, animal sounds, and tongued twang. Crisp and reverberant with good bass frequencies. It has strong backpressure which is optimal for its size and pitch (making the circular breathing technique easier). Beautiful artwork. Well seasoned timber. Won't last long around here at this price so call straight away
if you see your name on it. Watch the video below to see Barry demo this didgeridoo for you.
