"MG262"
Concert Quality Didgeridoo
Crafted by Myke GomezmaicasWatch a VIDEO demo of this didgeridoo below! This agave didgeridoo has a tapered profile and a comfortable wood mouthpiece made from layers of walnut, cedar and padauk woods, and the HUGE 6" bell on the end is adorned with a ring of padauk wood as well. Truly gorgeous, and this adds a lot of strength to bell, too! Myke knows the desert well and selects shapely stalks that have the best potential for didgeridoo crafting. All of the markings and colors are completely natural with beautiful "tiger stripes" near the bell end (watch the video demo below for close-ups of the whole didge).
Myke is a longtime friend, going back to the first Joshua Tree festivals at the turn of the millennium. His beautiful family supports and encourages his very serious didge habit, and Myke shares his love of this instrument with heaps of young people in his community. He began making didgeridoos so his students would have something to learn on. From that he's allowed me to hand pick the very best sounding new ones and offer them to you at very reasonable prices.
This didgeridoo is super light in weight so you can easily take it along on walkabouts, to drum circles, or jam sessions with friends. Double resin coated inside and out for enhanced sound quality, luster and durability. The high gloss resin has been buffed down to a smooth satin finish. Features a comfortable mouthpiece made of maple wood, sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). No beeswax needed. This didgeridoo is waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold weather conditions, and very easy to care for, no worries.
Soundwise: Concert Quality
This is a LOW pitched didgeridoo with a WARM, MEDITATIVE sonic. Super easy to play! It also has a unique set of horn toots with the second and fifth horn toot matching the drone in C. Best of all the tapered bore responds well to tongued riddims with an earful of pseudo-electric twang. Good low to midrange vocal response. Optimal strong backpressure for its size and pitch make the circular
breathing technique easeful. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Our friend William rocked up a few days ago and we made a video demo of him playing this didgeridoo (watch below). We didn't rehearse the demo so you get to see and hear him play it for the first time which offers a perfect real-time opportunity for you to get an idea of its true sonic capabilities.
