Cindi Numina (Larritja aboriginal) painted this colorful CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoo with artwork featuring an aerial perspective of the scrubby country where she grew up in Australia's Northern Territory. The painted artwork represents campsites, wind breaks and billabongs (water marshes). The dot art is symbolic of her desert ancestry and relates to stories passed down from her elders. Acquired from the Debra Wilson collection, this didgeridoo is in excellent condition. Didgeridoos painted by Cindi were some of our most popular back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Cindi moved on to canvas-based artwork many years ago, so didgeridoos painted by her (like this one) are now collectable as she and her sister Louise have earned a respectable reputation for their fine art.

Crafted from termite hollowed eucalyptus. The interior bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A high gloss finish protects the wood and artwork from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.

This didgeridoo has a wonderful tone and easy playability, right as rain. The natural bore and medium-thin walls give it a DEEP and CAVERNOUS ACOUSTIC with awesome clarity. Birdsong and wildlife noises morph into metallic beeps, bass thumps, and otherworldly sci-fi sounds. It's a superb instrument offering up a keen balance between gravel-voiced distortion effects and its resonant, harmonic drone. Three easy horn tones, each warm against the drone and always ready to toot. Optimal strong backpressure makes the circular breathing technique easeful (even for a novice).
