This is one of our best PROFESSIONAL GRADE didgeridoos currently on offer! Pitched in the deep key of B, the fairly large bore tapers out to a 4" BELL on the bottom end that projects the most astonishing pseudo-electric tongued effects you've ever heard. Enoch made this handsome didgeridoo from a big messmate eucalyptus tree in N. Queensland, Australia. This is a RESONANT, CONCERT QUALITY didgeridoo made from well seasoned, naturally termite-hollowed timber.
Enoch is one of the few master crafters of messmate eucalyptus
didgeridoos. We enjoy having his instruments on offer here as much as he
appreciates your support of his work. This didgeridoo is remarkable in color and character with
awesome patterns in the wood grain where
the darker heartwood gives way to the lighter sapwood. The artwork is by Yaram and features two flying foxes amid scattering leaves. See the photo at left for better detail. The bore is very clear (you
could roll a silver dollar down the inside) which increases
volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. A beautiful satin finish
protects the wood and artwork from the elements. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece that's been sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.
Soundwise: Concert Quality
Warm jets of healing vibes and billows of sonic thunderheads waft through this big bore didgeridoo. The low B pitch requires a slightly slower lip vibration than your average didgeridoo. Having said that, if you've got the basic playing techniques down and you really want a deep drone growler, this is the one. It prefers to play slower to moderately paced riddims, and would make a great instrument for chilling out or providing a sonic atmosphere during yoga class. Overall, the acoustics lean towards the raw rather than polished end of the spectrum with gritty vocals and soundwave distortion effects. Two soft horn tones. Optimal medium-strong backpressure for its size and pitch making the circular breathing technique easeful.
