"Fig Tree Dreaming"
Concert Quality Didgeridoo

Painted by Hadyn Thomas

Awesome sound and so easy to play! Hayden painted up this very resonant, CONCERT QUALITY, mago-style didgeridoo with
natural ochres (hand made paint from earth pigments). The decoration features an interpretive aerial perspective of a soakwater and fig tree. The light yellow, overlayed dots which define and separate the base colors are done with gypsum clay (see the close-up photo for a bit better detail). Gypsum clay is gathered from dry creek beds and is used primarily for ceremonial body decoration. This clay is also taken as a remedy for upset stomach. When used in artwork, the clay is ground into a powder and usually mixed with reptile oil or glue as a fixative. This didgeridoo was crafted from termite hollowed yellowbox eucalyptus in Australia's Northern Territory.

Truly old school, and instruments like these are getting harder to find these days. Suitable for any player from the beginner to advanced level. The bore is very clear which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). The mouthpiece can easily be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Instructions included, no worries.

Soundwise: Concert Quality

This one offers a FULL, RICH TONALITY! It's feisty with aggressive distortion effects. Loud and powerful sonics. Likes to play slower to moderate paced riddims. High frequency insectile buzzes and whip-snapping response to tongued and diaphragmatic hits. Three easy horn tones, the first being very bright against the drone and always ready to toot. Excellent jaw-drop, bending the pitch on demand from D nearly down to B with ease. Optimal strong backpressure which makes the circular breathing technique easeful. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like a demo over the phone. This one's a beauty and it may not last long around here so call straight away if you see your name on it. Watch Barry demo this instrument for you in the video below.
