Kristian (pictured at right) is an Australian indigenous artist who is highly dedicated to his craft. He's been making and playing his own didgeridoos since 1995. A descendant of the Ngemba people of New South Wales, Australia, Kristian’s talent for finding and making concert quality instruments goes side by side with his expertise in playing them. This is an unbeatable combination and a valuable asset as this allows him to make didgeridoos to very specific standards. Not many didgeridoo crafters can claim to excel in both areas.
The artwork on this didgeridoo depicts Thulli the Sand Goanna along with Kristian's signature rock art motif. Crafted
from termite hollowed bloodwood eucalyptus. The interior
bore is very clear and open which increases volume, harmonics, and
clarity of tone. A beautiful satin finish protects the wood and artwork from
elements. The mouthpiece is smooth and comfortable, and does not require any beeswax. The artwork on the mouthpiece is protected with a non toxic, water-based polyurethane. The mouthpiece comes sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil).Soundwise: Concert QualityThis sensational didgeridoo offers a billowing tonal swelter which seems to hold some unknown power. It has a dense and powerful drone whilst being very easy to play. Earthy acoustics and warm, loud, reverberant bass frequencies. You get a beautiful, deeply haunting drone that gives off waves of tone color and harmonic flame. Easy horn tup and toots. Articulate vocal effects and animal chatter ring true. Optimal strong-medium backpressure for its size and pitch make the circular breathing
technique easier. Crafted from well seasoned timber. With this combination of sound and looks we don't
expect it to last long around here. Please don't hesitate to contact us
