Concert Quality Didgeridoo
Crafted by Inlakesh Watch a VIDEO demo of this didgeridoo below! This tall and handsome agave didgeridoo has a classic tapered profile with a conical bore and a BIG 5" bell on the end. Rob Thomas and Tanya Gerard (pictured on the right) have been making and playing agave didgeridoos for many years. Each instrument is carefully and patiently carved from wild harvested agave they personally collect while roaming through the southwestern wilderness habitat of New Mexico. They select only the most suitable stalks for didgeridoos and only after they have completed their flowering cycle and di ed. Once in their studio each stalk goes through a two to four week process where it is finely sanded, its center carefully carved to allow for a subtle and crystal clear harmonic range, ease of playability and volume of sound. The finished didgeridoo is finely coated each day over a two to three week period with a super resin that is non-toxic when cured. This not only enhances the harmonics but also strengthens the walls of the agave to somewhere near the durability of light wood. Fitted with an organic beeswax mouthpiece that's been sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). This didgeridoo is waterproof, unaffected by hot or cold weather conditions, and very easy to care for, no worries. This didgeridoo will ship to you directly from the Inlakesh studio, and our No Worries guarantee and policies apply fully to your purchase. Soundwise: Concert Quality Rob says, "This is a nice meditation didge that enjoys its time in the Never Never. Content on spending hours simply drifting in tonal revery, it in no way feels pressured to arrive anywhere in particular. It's relatively easy to play, producing a soft, floaty bass wave that merges with its environment rather than stealing the show. Vocals float through the chamber in a haunting and hypnotic way. If you're looking for a didge with punctuality and precision, this isn't it. If your looking to float downstream in search of a bit of mystery but prefer to stay dry, this just might be your raft. Don't be alarmed if it reminds you of some Australian backwaters where crocodiles roam for prey. No worries here. This one doesn't bite, it only plays and prays.
