Here's a very accessible and lively agave didgeridoo by Dave that won't last long at this price. The smooth, comfortable mouthpiece is made from Brazilian ebony and spalted maple woods (see the close-up photo at left for a better look), and there's a BIG 5.5" BELL on the end! Beautiful natural coloring in the outer fiber with a hand rubbed semi gloss polyurethane finish. The surface of the agave is as smooth as silk. Crushed turquoise stones fill many of the tiny fissures where desert woodpeckers had pecked at the skin of the agave––nice touch. You're gonna be BLOWN AWAY by the looks and sound of it straight out of the box!

Dave has been a supporter of L.A.Outback for a long time, and now we're happy to return the favor. Suitable for any player from the beginner to advanced level. The bell or distal end is very clear which increases volume, harmonics, and clarity of tone. Natural mouthpiece sanitized with Didgeri-Clean (tea tree and lavender oil). No beeswax needed.

Soundwise: High Quality

A very good mid-pitched instrument with a warm, rumbly voice that's very easy to play. Not overly loud so your pets won't run under the bed. The sonic colors are malleable at any tempo, whilst I find that you get the best out of it with faster paced riddims. It offers whispy vocals, murmuring animal sounds and raspy tongued twang. Good bass frequencies. Three horn tones sing warmly against the fundamental drone. It would be perfect for a beginner that wants a very good sounding didge at the best possible price and be able to appreciate its look as well. You'd be hard pressed to find another didge of this quality at this price anywhere else. Optimal strong backpressure which helps to make the circular breathing technique easier.
