Aboriginal Coolamons
These hand carved coolamons are used as a multi-purpose shallow vessel, or bowl with curved sides, ranging in length from 12 to 18 inches, and similar in shape to a canoe. Traditionally used by Aboriginal women to carry water, fruits, nuts, as well as to cradle babies.
